Red Bee were recorded and broadcast completely live, with the audio receiving a post mix treatment to be synced with the video for youtube.

No overdubbing or any audio added to the live sound - this is the Shelter Studio in action!

Our Story

The Three "R"s....

In early 2009 a chance meeting at an Epicure show in Katoomba snowballed into a search for a comfortable, commercial space to rehearse and record music. By September the soundproof hebel bricks were being laid by the hands of studio owners Paul, Morgan and Andrew. The 300mm inner brick walls of the rooms spawned a working title of "the Bomb Shelter". In October 2009 we opened the doors of "The Shelter" with the aim to always continue building and improving our haven for creativity in the Blue Mountains.
